July 30: Weather

Published by

5:28 PM Update: A few sprinkles as the storms die out.  Skies are looking clear below us.  Some showers predicted but VERY light.  This forecast just changed in 20 minutes.  WHY do we trust century long global warming predictions when they can’t predict weather 30 minutes ahead of time???

4:38 PM Update
: The storm above and below us keeps weakening.  All events are on.  See you soon..

3:45 PM Update: No change for us.  It looks like the storm to our north is weakening.  The Flood Warnings appear to be for Landers and Joshua Tree to our east.

3:13 PM Update: No real change.  Our area was issued a “flood advisory” ( “A Flood Advisory is issued when flooding is not expected to be bad enough to issue a warning.”)  We’re not seeing any rain here as of now.

2:42 PM: We’re watching the weather warnings very closely.  As of right now, it looks like we’re going to miss the moisture and flooding predicted by this storm.  Keep watching this space..
