Making Their Mark: Kids, Gratitude, & Ink Stains

“Dear Wounded Soldiers,
I hope you find this $20 useful.  We want you to know that we care.  We are proud of you.  Thank you for all you do.  Love, Gus”

Pretty wonderful, right?  Gus (and his family) nailed it. Gratitude is exquisite and powerful.  Even small gestures can make a difference.  Kids might spill the entire bottle of ink while holding their quill pen backwards, but the words they write will often win your heart.

We wanted to do something to support wounded veterans, too, and bring history-lovers together in the process.  Now we have a way! Riley’s Farm is happy to announce that the Civil War-themed “Spring Cotillion” and silent auction coming up this May 2nd will benefit Wounded Warrior Project.  We hope to see you there, friends.
