Red Riding Hood Goes West

Once upon a time, in a far-off land (that is, Texas 1875), there was a dear little girl who was loved by everyone, and most of all by her grandmother named…Grandmother. When Little Red was born she was given a bonnet of red velvet, which suited her so well her name soon followed. Her father said it was a beautiful color – one of passion and deep emotion. The ruby glow could be seen like a beacon of love from afar, which made it much easier to keep track of a sprinting toddler! There was a time, however, her father contemplated the name ‘tie-dye’…

This re-imagining of the brothers Grimm classic fairy tale Red Riding Hood brings wagons-ho to the dusty hills of Texas! Join us this July for a zany, mad-cap melodrama, Riding Hood Goes West! Cheer for our Hero, the handsome, dashing, classic western ranch hand, Dale Lee! Boo and hiss at the villainous, wretched, evil schemer Mr. Wolf. And laugh with a whole cast of quirky, good-natured townsfolk. The evening includes a hayride, tomahawk throwing, dancing, chuck-wagon dinner, and laughter. Don’t miss this wild adventure of gallops, gals, and giggles!
