Blue skies, fresh air, and more than 760 acres of gorgeous land await you in scenic Oak Glen for your exciting summer group adventure!  We’ll help you design your own living history experience and provide lots of engaging, hands-on activities for your campers to try.  Explore the many facets of  farm life, lead a hike through the apple and pear orchards, and try your hand at classic sports like archery and tomahawk throwing.  You’ll also pick fresh berries in season, dine on delicious farm-fresh meals, and relax in your own private marquee tent in Colonial Chesterfield this summer.  We can even provide fine 18th century attire for the entire group so you can enjoy a unique, immersive historical experience.

Meals

Savor sumptuous, mouth-watering meals in the Hawk’s Head Publick House over the course of your stay.  Dine on your group’s choice of delicious items like our famous chicken pot pie with seasoned veggies and homemade Sally Lunn bread, gourmet macaroni and cheese with a fresh garden salad, or savory English roast beef with mashed potatoes and gravy.  Breakfast favorites include French toast casserole with bacon and scrambled eggs, fluffy pancakes with fresh fruit and sausage, and our famous biscuits and gravy.

Attire

We can provide head-to-toe authentic 18th century attire for the whole group for the duration of your stay, or you can choose to take your leisure and relax in your own modern attire.  Huzzah!

Activities

Explore over 760 acres of natural beauty during your farm stay!  Our heirloom apple and pear orchards are perfect for nature walks,  bird watching, and photography.  We also offer u-pick berries in the summer months as crops ripen.  We’ll help you design your own living history group adventure when you choose from a variety of rich, hands-on activities.  Select up to five of the following activities during your stay, including:
