The Harmony Sisters

The Harmony Sisters have been singing together for almost 20 years. Sisters at heart, they share their love of the musical standards of the past. Performers are: Beverly Crowe, Chris McAleer and Stacey Sturgis, with Brian Croissant on keyboard.

As legend has it, when the Roman Emperor Claudius needed more men for his army, he outlawed marriage. A brave priest named Valentine defied the old tyrant and soon became known as the friend of sweethearts. When consigned to jail, and awaiting his execution, the priest was befriended by the jailer’s daughter, and the last words he wrote to her were signed, “your Valentine.”

Celebrate this tradition of romance on Riley’s Farm this year, with great Italian food, love songs by the Harmony Sisters, and dancing! Share a sonnet for your loved one, or test your skill as Cupid in our archery contest for a chance to win a delicious prize from our bakery.
