Don’t Fall for the Feed..
2 CommentsIt’s a very small tap, after all..
We live in a beautiful age, once you take a breath and understand what is happening. Everyone, (including little old me), can step up to the digital stage and blog or podcast or meme their way into a significant audience. Even here at Riley’s Farm, our combined social media and email reaches about 100,000 people, and on a few occasions, we reach millions. It’s one of the reasons I get to meet so many patriotic, loving, NORMAL Americans.
On the other hand, consider this story of pure evil made possible by this age of no media gatekeepers: a few days ago, after an event in Riverside, California, the young mothers of Harvest Christian Fellowship were greeted by protesters who were calling on parents to “drop” their babies. (WARNING: language and content alert). If you don’t want to watch the video, it features a lot of demon-possessed scum (what the Bible calls “worthless fellows”), calling on parents to… well it’s so gross I won’t attempt to describe it. Trust me: only a jobless, head-spinning demoniac, moldering in his aunt’s attic for five years, could come up with poison this bitter.
When you witness this sort of thing, or the Florida nurse who recently wished a vulgar, flesh-maiming child birth on press secretary Karoline Leavitt, you can experience a kind of temporary paralysis. Can such evil really exist among us? Are these just “dark parody” sites? The answer is yes and no. Yes, these sons and daughters of the Devil really do walk among us, and no, this is not just scripted “rage-bait.” Right now, if I were to scroll videos on my Instagram or X account, I would be able to watch the Banshee-screeching of pre-menopausal scolds for hours on end.
What’s NEW about all this..
Ponder the most disagreeable, irritable, insulting person you know. In the pre-internet world, she had no friends, because the only people who dealt with her were people who had to, by virtue of being co-workers or people who got in the wrong line at the DMV.
Now she can rant all day long in her car, and there are other freaks just like her all across the fruited plain. She can wish painful death on Trump voters. She can fantasize about denying medicine to people who disagree with her. She can wax rhapsodic about taking children away from parents who refuse to indulge her castration and breast-cutting “gender care” sensibilities. She (or he) is a shameless witch. And there are others just like her, who joyfully swim in her rage pool everyday. They share. They organize. They wind up on the streets of our own Riverside, California and call for parents to kill their children.
Why you shouldn’t be afraid..
The number of people in America this unhinged is very, very small. Most normal Americans — the ones who call themselves red, blue, or independent — recoil at the extremes. They may share her politics and shudder at her methods, hoping no one will notice her. They may pick out the crazies on the other side and hope you will notice them, but they know that no one can survive on this diet of pure gall. Unlike me, most Americans are not even primarily ideological. They plan their kids’ graduation parties. They save for a vacation. They share jokes with each other. They go out dancing. Most of these Americans, moreover, have a basic sense of justice. That’s why, when President Trump was subjected to the Russia hoax prosecution, or the myth of an “insurrection” on January 6th, or when these people witnessed biological males crushing girls’ heads in female sporting competition, they gravitated towards common sense and elected anyone opposed to all the nonsense, and all the rage.
Here on the farm, whenever I weigh in on an issue I think is important to our future, I do get some of the crazies, but the VAST MAJORITY thank me for taking a stand. Yes, we do lose some business, but we get better business by far.
Why you need to be on guard..
In history, very small, very passionate minorities can, unfortunately, be very dangerous. The nightmare of communism in the Soviet Union was brought about by a very tiny, very violent mob of Bolsheviks. Hitler’s nightmare began with a few rowdies in a beer hall riot. If we don’t put Don Lemon and his fellow church-breakers in prison, for a long time, we might be governed by deviants like Don. This problem, however, has an opposite, virtuous incarnation: America might never have freed itself of royal dolts if a few very passionate patriots hadn’t taken risks. In the Bible, God seems to love these unlikely heroes — Moses with his staff, Gideon with his 300 soldiers against a legion of enemies, David with his sling against a giant.
Why are these small minorities potentially so powerful? For the very reason I just articulated. Most of civilization is something like a family. Most people want to just “get along.” If an irritating, carping, potentially violent family member causes trouble, he tends to be placated, sometimes to the point of suffering a very bitter end for the entire family. Likewise, if a visionary, if a real hero spurs the family onto action for a worthy cause, they may grumble, but they may just make the difference.
What you can do..
Someday, some angry, carping misfit will stand before your board of education and demand the students be allowed to walk out of the classroom and protest ICE raids. Most of you are very patient people. You know that cold-hearted scold up there at the microphone has no real friends. Why not just give her a victory? If she’s opposed, she will probably be VERY unpleasant. Someday, Mr. Corporate Manager, you will be confronted by a crusading, HR type who wants your staff to spend less time making sales, and more time measuring their privilege. You will be tempted to placate, accommodate, stroke. You might even be a little scared of her. It’s only another 30 minutes, right? Someday, your child will want to have a sleepover at a friend’s house. You know the family. They fill you with utter dread. The mother indulges her teenage daughter’s gender confusion. The father is a whipped prisoner of war. Why not just let your son spend some time with them? He’s had trouble making friends, after all.
What can you do? You can be the David, the Gideon, the Patrick Henry. You can say, “look, if I don’t oppose this nonsense, people will begin to think these Bolsheviks represent core American values. These crazies will become the new normal.”
You can be the temporarily unpopular one who says, “not so fast. Normal people don’t do this, don’t believe this, don’t act like this.”
You can be the adult.
The righteous will rejoice when he sees vengeance;
He will wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.
And people will say, “There certainly is a reward for the righteous;
There certainly is a God who judges on the earth!”

I’m with you 100%. It’s Time for Patriots to become active and fight back against evil. Our Founders put everything on the line to break away from corruption in European-leadership and gave us a Constitutional Republic, establishing a government to protect our God given rights. We need to peaceably assemble to petition and replace corrupt leaders.
Thanks, Glenn!
