The “illegal order” thing is now super cool!
6 CommentsCatch that, soldier, policeman, G-man, prosecutor?
It’s time to remember there really are orders that are both illegal and immoral. If the police were suddenly ordered to sweep neighborhoods and remove all of your firearms, in violation of the Second Amendment, that would be an illegal order worth defying. If a local bureaucrat ordered your church closed, that would be an illegal order. If CPS officials were ordered to take your children for reading the Bible as a family, well, OBVIOUSLY, that’s a no-no. Right? This is beyond debate among reasonable people.
And let’s examine history. SURELY, illegal orders have been defied in our recent past. Right?
Back when the FBI killed 76 Branch Davidians in Waco, Texas, that was a HUGE issue, right? Right before they injected their compound with flammable CS gas, and killed dozens of children, I’m certain senate Democrats, George Mitchell, Ted Kennedy, Joe Biden and John Glenn all got together and made a video reminding federal law enforcement, “it’s okay to defy an illegal order.” Right? They probably specifically defined examples of illegal orders, right?
No?
Well, then, certainly, when James Comey, Barack Obama, John Brennan, and James Clapper all colluded to order career intelligence officers to create a new ICA, (Intelligence Community Assessment), against the advice of professional staff, so as to blemish the incoming Trump administration with false doubts about Russian collusion, they must have been worried their own Democratic colleagues in congress would create a video, urging career intelligence officers to defy orders.
Right?
When federal authorities, fevered by Covid panic, ordered career military officials to take an experimental “vaccine” with no long term human trials, on pain of losing their jobs, well surely THAT was an illegal order, right? Certainly, a lot of congressional Democrats would get together and do a “your body, your choice” video, encouraging soldiers to defy their commanding officers.
Right?
No? None of that happened? Congressional Democrats were not inspired to call gassing children, falsifying intelligence, and forcing soldiers to inject experimental lipids examples of “illegal orders?”
Somehow, none of that life-threatening stuff ever triggered their “illegal order” impulse. Gassing kids in Waco didn’t qualify. Ordering career intelligence officers to lie didn’t qualify.
What qualifies?
Enforcing laws against illegal immigration and establishing order in chaotic, blue-run cities.
Let’s be clear about this, people. Vast numbers of illegal immigrants — even if some them were trafficked on their way over, even if some of them were violent criminals in their home countries — are absolutely necessary to giving blue states an edge in congress. Priorities, people! If enforcing the law jeopardizes that advantage, well, then, DAMN — wrap Mark Kelly in the Constitution and let’s make him look like a victim of a conscience he clearly doesn’t possess.
Benedict Arnold was easily twelve times the warrior Mark Kelly could ever imagine being, even in Mark’s most fevered “service of country” videos and X posts.
But Benedict Arnold, like Mark Kelly, was a traitor. Kelly and the other five seditionists haven’t given a single cogent argument about what sort of Trump administration orders would be considered “illegal” or “immoral.” Did Trump order them to gas children in a locked building? Did Trump order them to close churches or curtail the First Amendment? Did Trump order them to inject experimental sh*t in their bloodstream?
The sooner this country recognizes the gross hypocrisy of the Democratic party, the soon we can begin healing.
And, don’t forget, there is a standard for leaders, for following orders. Here it is, written for the ages..
“..rulers are not a cause of fear for good behavior, but for evil. Do you want to have no fear of authority? Do what is good and you will have praise from the same; for it is a servant of God to you for good. But if you do what is evil, be afraid; for it does not bear the sword for nothing; for it is a servant of God, an avenger who brings wrath on the one who practices evil…”
