Taking Time to Remember..
“Honor” is very rare, but it actually does exist..
In the wake of this decade’s cynicism and despair, in the wake of national self-doubt, you might consider reading a few of our country’s Medal of Honor citations. Ponder the story of Richard Antrim, a graduate of the United States Naval Academy and a prisoner of war during World War II. These accounts are why we pause to remember.
There are times when a mere human being does something so selfless, so courageous, that you feel the words pulsing through history, “Greater Love Has No Man Than This..” The stories of heroes, I think, put you in the presence of the very God who made such men.
Tell your children..
